    Things I will look at when writing a character profile.
    Empathy: What elements make my characters likeable and unlikable?
    Character Arcs: How do my characters evolve in the beginning, middle, and end of the script, as they attempt to achieve their goals? What do my characters learn about themselves and others, and what do my characters gain or lose, as the plot unfolds?
    Multi-dimensional: What are my characters specific emotional, mental, physical, and/or social behaviors, idiosyncrasies and traits? How do my characters see themselves and how do they relate to others?
    Motivations: What are the underlying reasons that motivate my characters to make critical and specific decisions
    Flaws: What are my characters’ shortcomings and weaknesses?
    Vulnerabilities: What are my characters’ Achilles’ heel?
    Attitude: How do my characters really feel about themselves and others?
    Characters’ pasts influence their present: What are the events in my characters’ pasts, such as schooling, home life, employment, and/or trauma that have significantly molded them to be the person they are today?

    Auditions

    I always knew I was going to use Elly Bishop as the girl in my video, I have used her for several different pieces in the past shown here, these videos show how comfortable she is on camera and has been for a range of outcomes, therefore I used her as my Elsie, considering music videos are aimed at promoting the artist I figured the most effective way to promote the artist was to have the artist in the video..


However I did have to do some casting auditions for Charlie, I had someone in mind who I essentially based my character off but I also did some other casting videos, the people I auditioned were, this was the poem I used for my auditions..

I chose this material because it shows lots of different emotions all in once piece and shows how dramatically it changes from one to the other.

Jonathan Bailey

Acting Experience: Yes
Jonathan is a good potential choice for the role for many reasons:
He has had prior acting experience and is able to perform the role needed.
He lives roughly 25 minutes from my house, so is easily available when I need. 

After watching his audiriron tape I chose to not use him as my actor as since we will not be able to hear his voice I needed him to act well, to see the emotion on his face and in turn hear his emotion during the audition, I neither heard or saw any emotion.

Harry Flegg

    Edward is a good potential choice for the role for many reasons:

    He has had prior acting experience and is able to perform the role needed.
    He is currently dating Elly Bishop which means he was interested in the role and Elly feels comfortable acting with him, he is easily available when I need. I had used him in projects previously which meant I knew he was comfortable in front of the camera



    After I saw his audition tape it further cemented my want to keep him as my actor, he showed all the emotion on his face and in turn hear his emotion during the audition.

    I did no auditions for my police scenes, I had my friend Rachel help me, she is a PC in the Police Dog Unit, she allowed me to use their resources and the dogs in this video.

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? RESEARCH For the research element of my A2 coursework, I used several different media technologies. For example I used YouTube to search for examples of professional and student made music videos from different genres, this was really useful as YouTube allows people from all over the world to upload videos and share content, it meant I could look at students work from all around the world from different schools.  YOUTUBE CREATOR STUDIO I also used YouTube to search for inspiration from different artists and music video directors, such as the video I created for Hannah Lux Davis. Post 1 - Our practice task explained

My group (Megan, Noah, Wendy and I) were randomly given a fairy tale or nursery rhyme, and a question. We were tasked with creating a music video relevant to one of the stimuli given. The fairy tale we were given was- 'The boy who cried wolf'. The question we were given was 'What if you said yes to everything?' After discussion, we decided to choose the nursery rhyme (the boy who cried wolf). This was because we initially had more ideas for this stimulus, and felt we could develop an interesting music video. This is our original mind map for this idea: Potential song choices: 'Running with the Wolves'- Aurora:     This was one of our first choices.
