Post 43 - Final costume and make-up

my costumes changed slightly, I decided to not have as many arguments therefore half the outfits were not needed but apart from that nothing changed.

The reason I chose these outfits were because I don't have the budget to buy all new costumes, also the actors I used already had the ideal clothes for their characters, since this music video is going to be aimed at promoting Elly and her music as advertisement, it is a key influence of this music video to ensure that she wears clothes that she feels represents her, to form her own iconic look in clothes she feels comfortable in. Edwards character Charlie was always envisaged in my head wearing darker clothes, dark expensive clothes that he has bought using the money from his drug selling company. Elly would wear bright colours In the happy scenes, this aids colour psychology, where the bright happy colours convey happy connotations and so forth, the same with the dark clothe with Edward, unhappy dark colours.

How did you use media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages? RESEARCH For the research element of my A2 coursework, I used several different media technologies. For example I used YouTube to search for examples of professional and student made music videos from different genres, this was really useful as YouTube allows people from all over the world to upload videos and share content, it meant I could look at students work from all around the world from different schools.  YOUTUBE CREATOR STUDIO I also used YouTube to search for inspiration from different artists and music video directors, such as the video I created for Hannah Lux Davis. Post 1 - Our practice task explained

My group (Megan, Noah, Wendy and I) were randomly given a fairy tale or nursery rhyme, and a question. We were tasked with creating a music video relevant to one of the stimuli given. The fairy tale we were given was- 'The boy who cried wolf'. The question we were given was 'What if you said yes to everything?' After discussion, we decided to choose the nursery rhyme (the boy who cried wolf). This was because we initially had more ideas for this stimulus, and felt we could develop an interesting music video. This is our original mind map for this idea: Potential song choices: 'Running with the Wolves'- Aurora:     This was one of our first choices.
